Born in Canandaigua, NY, Lady Hawthorn was interested in Paganism and related studies at an early age.  Her first interests included Tarot, Druidism, attending (as a guest) at a nearby ADF group and a solitary exploration of Wicca.  Scholarly interests in Psychology and Fine Arts also continued to open the psychic doorways to a more spiritual perspective. After attending the State University of New York at Brockport, she became disenchanted with her academic experience and soon after moved to the Southeast in 1995.  It wasn't long before she met someone who was studying in the Unicorn Tradition and by 1997 she had moved to Atlanta and began taking classes with Lady Galadriel and Lord Athanor at the Grove of the Unicorn. She was initiated in 2001 and became a priestess in 2008, as a more focused personal direction and a deeper dedication to tradition community began to arise.

Professionally, Hawthorn has most often been employed in technical support and publicity-related positions. Now a mother and wife, Hawthorn continues to devote her time to the Grove of the Unicorn, as well as her studies and hobbies, some of which include: drawing, healing, divination, folklore and cooking.
